Wagin Ram "Bart"

One of the Town’s major attractions, "Bart" was built locally in 1985. Thousands of tourists visit the ram annually which is located in the Wetlands Park.

Puntapin Rock is approx. 5 minutes drive south/east of Wagin and is well worth the short drive and the climb to see the fabulous 360 degree views.

Westjets are a regular visitor to Wagin's airstrip and visitors are welcome to attend.

COMMUNITY BUDGET REQUESTS 2025/2026 – OPEN NOW!

The Shire of Wagin is inviting community groups and organisations to submit their applications for Council contributions to community projects for the 2025/2026 financial year.

Shire contributions of up to $10,000 in value will be considered by Council as Community Budget Requests for 2025/2026. Applications over $10,000 will only be considered on a one third Council contribution / two thirds Applicant / Grant Contribution basis. Applications must be in writing and demonstrate positive contribution to the Wagin community.
