BUILDING MAINTENANCE OFFICER (CASUAL)
The Shire of Wagin is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to undertake general maintenance of the Shire’s properties.
The position demands a multi-skilled person with experience in building practices, preferably with a working knowledge of building legislation. The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance of public buildings, Shire housing, public amenities, playgrounds and outdoor furniture, as well as organising contractors and assisting with building projects.
A current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence is essential.
This is a casual position, with hours as and when required to a maximum 60 hours per fortnight.

Position Description - Building Maintenance Officer
Gardener
The Shire of Wagin is seeking a motivated individual to join our works team.
The position is responsible for the maintenance of parks, ovals, gardens, and reserves within the Shire. The successful applicant will hold a current LR class WA Driver’s License and be experienced with the use of a broad range of equipment and machinery, particularly relating to garden maintenance.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 76 hours over a nine day fortnight, with some overtime required.

Truck Driver / Plant Operator (Casual)

The position is responsible for driving a truck equipped with tipper body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel and bituminous materials. The successful applicant will hold a current HR or HC class WA Driver’s License and have experience with road construction and general tipper work.
