The Shire of Wagin holds a large number of Leases and Agreements with community groups and clubs within the area. Typically, these leases and agreements have a term of 10 years and are renewed at the expiry date. Some of these leases and agreements are on Shire land and some are on Crown land which is vested in the Shire of Wagin.
The Shire is currently in the process of renewing three of these agreements.
The Wagin Historical Village Inc
The Village is located on Lot 9 and part of Lot 52 (as delineated by the existing fence line west of the Village) to Lot 50, comprised in titles Volume 1400 / Folio 929 and Volume 1673 / Folio 029, within the Wagin Sportsground area off Ballagin Street in Wagin.

The land is to be used as a Historical Museum for the benefit of tourism and the citizens of Wagin and surrounding districts.
The term of the previous lease was ten (10) years, expiring 26 June 2023. The shire proposes to lease the land for a Peppercorn from 27 June 2023 to 26 June 2033.
The Wagin Riding and Pony Club Inc
The Wagin Riding and Pony Club is located on a portion of Lot 1809, reserve 11339 as delineated by the current surrounding fence and is to be used for the purpose of equestrian activities.

The term of the previous lease was ten (10) years expiring 1 February 2019. The shire proposes to lease the land for a Peppercorn from 2 February 2019 to 1 February 2029.
Wagin Gun Club Inc
The Wagin Gun Club is located at Lot 1804, Reserve 30734 Bullock Hills Road in Wagin and is to be used for the purpose of clay target shooting and activities associated therewith.
The term of the previous lease was ten (10) years expiring on 1 February 2019. The shire proposes to lease the land for a Peppercorn from 2 February 2019 to 1 February 2029.
